terms of service - you must agree to these terms to work with me
(Contact info at bottom of page.)- I kindly ask for at least a 50% down payment before services can begin/resume. This is to prevent scammers who would promise to pay me later, only to ignore me once services are completed. However, I am open to negotiating prices and payment methods for larger services.- Once we reach an agreement and work begins, this agreement is in effect for the agreed upon period. Should one or more term(s) be breached, I may cease working with you, depending on the circumstances. This is an informal contract; however, if you'd like to enter into a formal, legally binding contract, please let me know.- Once content is made, it cannot be refunded (regardless of whether it is posted). (example: If I make 20 days of tweets and you wish to stop tweets, I will refund you for the remaining 10 days, however I will still charge for the tweets I made, even if you don't publish them.) I allow free revisions of proposed content within reason.- If full payment is not provided within 1 month after the agreed upon start date (regardless of reason), I will stop working with you until payment is received.- Prices listed are in U.S. Dollar. I prefer to use PayPal invoices for payment, but I also accept CashApp and/or Venmo. I am open to alternative payment rhythms (ex. paying $50 every 2 weeks rather than $100/month, or paying hourly). I will pay you in your nation's currency (if not possible, I will use USD).- I have the right to decline/cease anyone’s service request for any reason. I will not discriminate based upon race, sex, gender, etc. If I am too busy to accept your services, I will let you know.- Please keep serious drama, allegations, politics, etc. to a minimum. If you get me, yourself, and/or other clients unnecessarily involved in drama despite repeated warnings, I will cease working with you immediately. Drama hurts not only my reputation, but the reputation of my clients. I will gladly assist you in mitigating drama, but I will NOT get involved with it.- Please allow me reasonable time to complete services. I use a model that roughly translates to me getting paid $15 per hour of service I provide. As such, please allow me reasonable time to complete a service. If I fall behind schedule, I may give you a discount. I also ask that you be understanding should a personal emergency arise. In exchange, I will be understanding and flexible should an emergency arise for you.- Please use English or (basic)Japanese, if possible. With the assistance of machine translation, I can work with those in other languages, but please understand that there will be some misunderstandings, and voice calls will only be allowed in English.- Should these terms be changed after agreement, I will let you know ASAP.Some Extra Things:
- Please list me as your editor/manager on your social media profile(s). This one isn’t a requirement per se, but it does help me a lot!- Tips would be greatly appreciated! The prices listed on this site are the minimum required to begin my services with you. However, if you would like a higher degree of service, or if you simply think that I did an outstanding job, feel free to tip me! It’s entirely optional but very appreciated!
Social Media Specific ToS:Some posts between clients may be similar; for example, if there is a trend going around, I may use said trend format for multiple clients at the same time. However, every client's post will be unique, and I will do my best to differentiate, utilizing a client's brand image. (TL;DR: some posts between clients will use a similar format but I won't just copy-paste it.)
Video Editing Specific ToS:
-I consider short-form videos to be videos that are portrait(9:16 ratio) and 60 seconds or less (180 seconds or less starting 10/15/24). This is because YouTube will only consider a video a Short if it meets said requirements. Anything else will be considered a landscape video.
-Landscape videos that are less than a minute in length will be charged for 1 minute of video.
-Delivery time depends upon the scope of the video, but in general it takes me 1-3 days for short-form content and 1-10 days for longer videos.
-I will not take longer than 1 week for shorts and 1 month for landscape videos. If I am late, I may give you a discount.
-I will charge $10 if more than 3 revisions are requested (limit of 5).
Management Specific ToS:-Advising meetings will be an hour at maximum, and are a one-time service.
